Well, round three of The Book Of Stories proved to be my last. It was close though. The two-person collaberation that beat me went on to win the entire contest. Aside from entering a Dragon Age OC contest I haven't really kept up with DA this year. I'm happy with the few pieces I've done, but there haven't been enough. More work and a hectic life have been the major culprits but it's also been the case that the key creative pieces I've been failing to get on with are non-DA in nature. Another year has gone past, so it's time for another review. This year has been all about the contests held by Groups. I decided to get into them in order to test my writing mettle against a reasonable number of opponants (all-DA contests are imposing, to say the least) and try to assess how well my dream of getting to a publishable level is going. My first contest was at #LelianaFans (https://www.deviantart.com/lelianafans) It went perfectly, since I got first place! Sadly there were only three entrants in each catagory, but a win's a win.
